About the Association
The International Crisis Management Association (ICMA) was established in 2006 in response to a growing need to develop and exchange knowledge in the field of crisis management, at the international level, and provide the academic and the practitioner with a forum for discussion and research to network and share information.
Over the years ICMA has developed the world’s leading certification program and played a major role in the promotion and progress of crisis management.
The aim of the ICMA is of a purely scientific character, without regard to political, philosophic or religious considerations. The Association does not endorse opinions on any policy question and negative action should not involve in any ICMA event.
