History
International Crisis Management Association was founded in United Kingdom with the form of unincorporated association in 2006 to encourage scholars and practitioners to develop and disseminate theory, research, and experience that is useful for understanding and improving Crisis management.
Two years later, the Association was incorporated by guarantee and not having share capital according to Companies Act 1985 and 2006 of United Kingdom. As an independent, impartial and nonprofit international organization, the Association is in a unique position to identify global crisis issues, set priorities and serve as a catalyst to address the issues.
Today, crisis management is becoming increasingly important for situations that occur in society, enterprise, industry, information, nation and other areas. The dramatic rise in complex issue and undoubtedly related to changing patterns reinforce the Association to continue providing effective education and imperative treatment systems. The Association’s effectiveness in bridging cultural and political differences in the common crisis management has earned worldwide respect.
