| ABSTRACT
Hazard identification is the basis of the operational risk management process. Very significantly, if not in advance of a hazard be identified, it can’t be evaluated in subsequent steps. Even impossible to develop control methods to be controlled, the risk will still existed operational activities until the accident caused only get attention. The initiative prevention of operational risk management model is needed to identify in advance, and effectively to control the subsequent process. Therefore, the efforts of hazard identification will have a multiplier impact for the purposes of risk management procedures throughout the operation. This study explores the hazard identification risk management tool in two special important tools, included the hazard and operability study and the mapping tool. The purpose is to use the art and science of hazard identification, to identify the strategies the risks of accidents, and to avoid control and remove hazardous to reduce risk.
