ABSTRACT

The Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council of Taiwan (HEEACT) executed accreditation on the Department of Aviation Management (hereinafter referred to as the DoAM), Chinese Air Force Academy, Taiwan, Republic of China (ROCAFA, ROC) in 2016, and the DoAM programs were certified 'accredited.' Per HEEACT's accreditation protocol on higher education institutes (HEIs), which is based on five evaluation perspectives designed following the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) principle, the DoAM initiated a questionnaire survey on ROCAFA graduates to collect feedback on how they perceived the teaching environment and curriculum quality of DoAM. The conclusions from the graduate questionnaire responses indicate that DoAM graduates are satisfied and agree with DoAM’s educational goals in terms of the following five factors: professional competence, curriculum design, teaching quality, positive feedback, and service skills. Feedback from the questionnaire is a proactive approach to evaluate, refine, revise, and update our curricula to guarantee that graduates have the professional ability to secure airspace over the Taiwan Strait.
