ABSTRACT

This study highlights the current regulatory landscape for All-Electric Aircraft (AEA) and its potential to align with environmental goals, like those set by the International Civil Aviation Authority (ICAO), such as 2% annual fuel efficiency improvement until 2050 and carbon-neutral growth from 2020. Using inductive approach embracing qualitative analysis, this study primarily assesses existing regulations for AEA technology development, finding shortcomings in manufacturing and deployment regulations.
